Over the past year since we started this little blog of ours, I've pondered how to best approach it. For the most part it's been a place where we post pictures and stories of our lives to keep our family & friends up to date on the goings on in our lives.
At times though I've had thoughts that I thought would be good to get off my chest and maybe see how others that stop by here would feel about those same things. I have resisted that urge though until now.
Recently my wife has convinced me that it would be a good idea to have this be a journal of sorts for our family. And if you've ever kept a journal (ok well I can't say that I have really ever been good at that, but I assume that if you keep a journal) you would eventually stray from the basic this is what happened today and into the world of this is what I was thinking about today.
So from now on be prepared to hear some of the things that we're thinking. I think that this will be something that I use more than Debbie, but she may surprise us.
I hope that this change will be one that encourages us to blog more, and that everyone will enjoy hearing not only about what the Salt's are doing, but what we're thinking about.

I think it's a great idea. Sometimes blogs have a way of being cheesy or saccharine-sweet. So, I'm all for keepin' it real. :)

I am totally with you... hat sometimes one thinks whatever and this is a great way to write them down and get a response ,not only from others' thoughts and viewpoints... but from ourselves again.. we might re think from another angle... and a lot of things may get "solved" or receive the comment "I never knew that about you!!..no wonder we are on /not on the same wave length here"!!!! Debbie.. hae fun at church tomorrow.. and rest up for you new first day in the OR... you have so much ahead of you.. you can be whatever you want to be...
we'll miss you...but as you can see... I'll be stopping by here anytime you add something new and then some!!! Hugs

I have often wanted to let the real Sarah come out, but I have to censor some of what I say. For example, can I write about how my Christmas vacation really went without offending the in-laws (who read my blog)? Good luck, though.

We all hope that the real Sarah comes out once in a while at least. You know like when people in the ward annoy you and you have to chew them out...
